At this point, we're all very familiar with the spreading of the Coronavirus through the US and the concerns it brings. Many of the leagues we're in & governing organizations have released statements and all are closely monitoring the CDC/WHO recommendations. We're following suit.
As always, our top priority is our players, families, and coaches safety. For this reason Monroeville Soccer Club is postponing all activities, effective immediately. All indoor practices, outdoor practices, pick-up games and any other activities or gatherings associated with MSC are to be postponed until further notice.
MSC hopes to resume the regular Spring 2020 season starting April 18th for the In-house and Eagles programs & April 19th for all Travel teams. If it is agreed upon by the MSC Board to be safe to resume all activities, MSC will email all members & coaches with details.
Once the situation is deemed safe to resume, MSC will do our best to schedule as many In-house (U6, U8, U10 Eagles, U12 Eagles, U14 Eagles) games as we can fit in to the condensed schedule. If at any time you do not feel safe to send your athlete to practice or play due to concerns, please simply contact your child’s coach.
For all Travel teams, the resumed schedule will be determined by our governing body, PA West. As soon as PA West & MSC are aware of the updated schedules, we will pass that information on to all coaches and families.
We thank you all in advance for your patience, support & cooperation in this time of concern as we at MSC are in constant communications about the situation, the season and all our concerns.
Best regards,
All of us on the Monroeville Soccer Club Board
As general precaution…
