TRANSFER FROM OTHER COMMUNITIES / SOCCER CLUBS

A player residing outside the geographic boundries of the Monroeville Soccer Club will be accepted as a member if the following conditions are satisfied:

1.              No Monroeville resident will be displaced or denied the opportunity to play by the addition of this player either on an in-house or travel team.

2.              If applying for a specific travel team, the Coach shall obtain from the registrar a list of all age eligible players who had expressed a desire to play on a travel team, including those who had previously failed to make the cut or had changed their mind.  The Coach shall contact all players on this list.

Anyone who is interested shall be placed on the team.  If more than one would like to be on the team and there is only one opening, a tryout shall be conducted.

3.              If there is more than one team in that age group, the non-resident may be included in the tryout.  The players may be assigned to the appropriate team based on their skill level.

4.              A non-resident shall not be accepted merely because he/she is more skilled than a resident player.

5.              Prior to acceptance, the non-resident shall provide a release from the present club in accordance with PA West guidelines.

6.              The applicant’s parent and the Coach shall present their request in person to the Board along with the above written documents.

7.              The applicant’s parents shall agree to serve on MSC committees when called upon: i.e. fund raising, tournament committees, etc.

8.              The Board shall not take action to approve until all conditions have been met.

9.              Once a player is accepted, he/she shall be considered a member of the club with status equal to resident players for as long as they maintain continuous membership.
